La Boulie has a lovely parkland layout with an abundance of fir trees, rhododendrons and other varieties. The fairways are inevitably tree-lined and after your straightest drive, you’ll be left with an approach shot that requires careful navigation over the impressive array of bunkers to the fast and huge greens. The par-threes are all heavy-defended by bunkers and the entire course is spread out over undulating landscapes and hills. Between 1906 and 1986, La Boulie has been a frequent host of the French Open championship. |
